Internship:
Description: Opportunities vary according to workflow and location, as well as to the needs and skills of the intern candidates. Internships can sometimes be arranged for scholastic credit, if the candidate is still at an academic institution. Internships in our studio tend to be unpaid, short-term opportunities, as we are often out of the studio working.
Qualifications: Candidates need to have some developed skills in at least one area of drafting, model making and digital rendering.
Studio Assistance.:
Description: Limited positions are available on a rotating basis. Fees are in accordance with industry standard rates, depending on whether the job is a union or non-union project, and if it is commercial or non-commercial.
Qualifications: Candidates are expected to have completed a graduate degree program and be proficient in model making, drafting, model photography and digital rendering.
Scenography Collaboration:
Description: When we embark on an AMP project, we identify 2-3 people who we feel are a good match according to their interests and background. They interview with the director, who makes the final choice. In many ways, the AMP fellow functions as a high-level associate, especially in the early stages as we forge the collaborative relationship. The difference is that this person is intimately involved in every aspect of the production, including design and conception with the director, receives visible credit, and a share of royalties if applicable. Fees are determined by the type of project and union guidelines
Qualifications: To be considered, candidates must have completed a graduate degree program and have a few years of experience working as an associate/assistant and on their own projects. AMP fellows are expected to have a high level of skill and be passionate and open collaborators who are curious and committed.
